Voith Robotics, a joint venture between the global technology company Voith and the Munich-based robotics start-up Franka Emika, is a global system supplier for robot-assisted automation.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see in hall C5, booth 101 Voith Robotics’ easily programmed collaborative robot (cobot) Panda perform automated electronic manufacturing for maximum production efficiency. As part of Avnet Silica’s display of advanced system solutions, two Panda systems will be shown on the booth. Employing the standard gripper and tailored fingers for skillful object manipulation, the robots perform two use cases. They will either handle electronic boards, carefully inserting them into the testing device or pick passive components placing them into a printed circuit board. Beside customized robotic solutions the company offers “Out of the Box” solutions for e.g.: Chip-test and PCB-test for the semiconductor and electronics industry.
