Next Gen Young Talent
You are now invited to submit your abstract for the 2024 Next Gen Young Talent in SEMICON Europa:
The Session “Next Gen Young Talent” will give the opportunity to students and graduates to present their research to the semiconductor audience. With this session, we want to bring the spotlight on new talent interested in our industry and provide them with insights and a motivation for a successful career launch in the semiconductor industry.
We want to hear from:
- Bachelors students writing their final year thesis
- MSc and PhD students and their professors
- Postgraduate researchers
- Researchers working in academic and research institutes
Topics of interest:
- Semiconductor technology development – e.g. process technologies, device architectures
- Advancements in materials of all types – gases, chemicals, substrates, masks, coatings, encapsulants, adhesives, etc. – as an essential part of the fabrication of semiconductor devices
- Data analytics, machine learning, AI
- Use of semiconductor technology, to drive innovative solutions to fix the future e.g. sustainability, healthcare, climate change, food scarcity…
- Sustainability strategies and green technologies within the semiconductor industry itself
- The role of the semiconductor industry in enabling adoption of new technology and addressing bottlenecks in new technology adoption
- Power electronics and devices for broad applications
How to participate:
- Please submit your abstract and biography through our link selecting Next Gen Young Talent.
- The submission deadline has now passed. Thank you to all who submitted by October 1st, 2024.
- Selected authors will be notified in August 2024.
- Each finalist has 5 minutes to pitch their presentation
- Participants (e.g students, researchers, postgraduate researchers) should do the oral presentation on stage.
Selected presenters will receive:
- One complimentary pass to the SEMICON Europa 2024
- For students, an additional pass will be given to their professor
- 5 minutes presentation slot to pitch the audience with 1 question
- Chance to introduce yourself to semiconductor leaders at the following networking session
About this session:
- Come and listen to pitches of research papers authored by the next generation of semiconductor talent. Explore how these contributions drive workforce development and innovation in the semiconductor industry, shaping the future of technology and the World we live in. Take your chance to meet, inspire and secure the future of our industry.
